Applications Available for Boch Memorial Funding

Ernie Boch Jr. presented $30,000 to the Board of Selectmen last week to be used for Norwood organizations.

At the Board of Selectmen meeting on May 15, Ernie Boch Jr., CEO, president, and spokesman of Boch Enterprises, presented the Board with a $30,000 donation to the Andrew and Ernest Boch Memorial Fund.

The funding - donated by Boch annually for the last 15 years - is made available by application process to Norwood organizations without an adequate source of funding.

"I am very happy with everything you've done with the money..." Boch said to the Board on Tuesday.

The application is available on the town website, and must be returned by June 7 to the Selectmen. Awards will be announced on June 26.

Past beneficiaries include the Circle of Hope and Norwood Food Pantry.
