Best Of Patch: Sandwiches in Norwood

Vote in this week's "Best Of" poll and defend your choice in the comments section below. Then check back Friday for the winner.

Today we kick off our Best Of Norwood Patch series, our very own local business tournament, where Norwood Patch readers get the chance to vote on their favorite places in town in a number of categories.

This week we're looking for the best sandwich in Norwood. Who doesn't love a good sandwich? So, Norwood, what is the best sandwich in town, and where do we find it?

Is it a hot roast beef sub from Mak's? Perhaps a club or chicken sandwich from Conrad's? Maybe you're more of a bagel sandwich type, and Fresh Bagel Cafe is your sanwich go-to. The chicken salad at D&G Deli is certainly a local favorite, but will it emerge from our poll victorious?

Does the neon of the Town Square Diner call to you around lunchtime? Or an artisanal sandwich at Cafe Paprika.

Let's not forget the numerous pizza and sub shops in town, including Royal Pizza, Sokos, and Rama Pizza and Deli.

There are just some of our favorite places, but if we're leaving one off of the list, please let us know in the comments and we'll add it.

We'll leave the poll up all week then close voting at 9 a.m. Friday. At noon that day, we'll share your top local pick. Then be sure to watch the site over the weekend when we tally up the top votes and announce the shop that got the most rave reviews across all of our Massachusetts sites.

Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results and reviews on Patch Places. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch.

Best sandwich hands down is The Little Rascal at Giorgio's. It's a full meal on a roll. The ingredient list reads like your weekly grocery list. I also think they have the best burgers in town, without exaggeration..

I second Steve on The Spot. The bagels are delicious and the owners are absolutely wonderful. Also Bruno's chicken salad is a close second to my mother's, and that is a hard to come by.

You speak, we listen! We added some more options to the poll - and will be taking into consideration comments as well, so don't worry if your favorite is just being entered into "official" polling now, it still has the chance to win!

And the Cafe Bagel makes an bacon egg cheese on bagel that can be two meals. And without a doubt, best bagels anywhere. Try the spinach but get there early.

The Lunch Box Deli is knocking it out of the park with their sandwich selection! I never know what to choose. The NHS roast beef, the Chicken Parm, or the Turkey BLT? If there is a daily sandwich special like their fresh turkey, cranberry and stuffing called a "Pilgrim" then I know exactly what I'm having!

The Lunch Box Deli on Route 1 is fantastic! My two favorites, so far, are the homemade meatball sub and the overstuffed Italian. Best part is, they use Boars Head products and make everything to order on your choice of the freshest breads! Give it a shot! I'm sure you'll fall in love, too!
