1. French and Arabic lessons are offered for kids and all ages, every Thursday at 5 p.m. at the Morrill Library. Cost is $15.

2. Do you like to sing great music? If you enjoy performing in a large chorus, with instrumental accompaniment then come to an open rehearsal of the Dedham Choral Society. Open rehearsals will be held January 9 and 16, at 7 p.m. at the Allin Congregational Church, 683 High Street, Dedham. For more info, visit www.dedhamchoral.org.

4. Rink Site Selection Committee packages on potential rink sites are now available to the public. The packages can be obtained at the Town Manager's Office in Town Hall from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Recipients will be required to sign out for the copies. The Rink Site Selection Committee will be meeting again on Jan. 9.

5. Jimmy Tingle Live will perform in the Norwood High School Paul M. Alberta Performing Arts Center Friday evening at 7:30. Tickets are available at tickets.jimmytingle.com and the NHS Fine Arts Office for $25 in advance, $30 at the door, for students $10 in advance and $15 at the door.
