1. The Norwood Farmer's Market opens for the season today at noon on the Town Common. There will be new vendors, and musical entertainment by the Swing Fever Band from 12:30-2:00 p.m. Stop by to shop and help celebrate the start of the season.

2. Charles River Running will be holding a grand opening celebration today from 12:00-7:00 p.m. Refreshments will be served in store and store products and gift certificates with be raffled. A percentage of the grand opening sales will go to support the Friends of Norwood Center and the Norwood High School Track and Cross Country programs.

3. Every Tuesday, seniors are invited to stop by the Senior Center for Square Dancing from 9:00-10:00 a.m.

4. Nominate your favorite businesses to be Patch's Readers' Choice 2012 contenders! Nominations will be taken until July 6 in 25 categories.

5. It’s Scrabble Night at the library. Adults can join in the fun from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Test your word skills and meet new people in the area. It is free and no registration is required. There's also a Scrabble club for kids, grade 3 and older, from 7:00-8:00 p.m. in the children’s room. All levels of ability are welcome.
