1. Norwood Hospital will be holding an American Red Cross Blood Drive today from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. in the Abraham-Sieracki Conference Room. Appointments are not required but ensure you can make your donation in a timely fashion.
2. The Norwood Senior Prom 11th Annual Fashion Show will take the stage tonight at the Norwood High School at 7:00 p.m. Senior students and faculty of Norwood High School will be modeling prom fashions by David’s Bridal, Richard Lewis Formal Wear and MW Tux of Norwood. Before and after the show there will be tables showcasing even more fashions, accessories, florists, hair and nail salons. The cost of the event is $5.00 for students/seniors and $7.00 for adults in advance or $8.00 for students/seniors and $10.00 for adults at the door. Proceeds from the Fashion Show benefit the Post Prom Party.
3. Boston based Americana and folk-rock singer, guitarist, and songwriter John Colvert will perform at Perks Coffeehouse at 8:00 p.m.
4. Willett Early Childhood Center will host a Family Night featuring Rosalita's Puppets. Bring your blankets and snacks and enjoy the show. Following the show, children will have the opportunity to enjoy a meet and greet with the puppets. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. for a 6:30 p.m. showtime. Admission is free for Willett Families.
5. Tickets are now available for the Savaria Ballroom and Latin Dance Show with dinner and a live band which will take place at the Concannon's Village Pub on Sunday, March 11, from 5:00-9:30 p.m. The evening will include a performance by their students, a professional show by Tomas Vasicek and Kimberly Harris, a hot buffet dinner and dancing to Java-Jive.
