1. Today is opening day for all pre-K and kindergarteners at St. Catherine of Siena School.
2. Norwood Day is Saturday, Sept. 17, from 10:30 to 3:30 p.m. The Norwood Day Committee is seeking volunteers for the day. Call 781-762-0466 for more information.
3. Open rehearsals will be held today for the Parkway Concert Orchestra, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the First Congregational Church, 100 Winter Street.
4. Norwood High School Fine Arts Department will present the musical The Music Man on Sept. 16-18 and Sept. 23-25. Purchase discounted tickets in advance today from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Savage Educational Center.
5. The Neponset Valley Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a "How to Network" seminar tomorrow at Buca di Beppo Italian Restaurant in Dedham from 10:30 a.m. to noon. This will be followed by a noon networking lunch from noon to 1:30 p.m. Visit the NVCC website to register.
