1. A Pre-Kindergarten Open House takes place today at Saint Catherine of Siena School from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
2. Norwood Hospital 9th Annual 4-Mile Road Race and Walk will be held on Saturday, Sept. 17 at 9 a.m. Early registration ends today. Call 781-278-6004 or visit www.caritaschristi.org for a registration form.
3. A Special Open House takes place today at Temple Shaare Tefilah. Kabbalat Shabbat Service begins at 6:15 p.m. with a dinner and program at 7 p.m. Rabbi Gouze will lead a discussion on “Humor: Chicken Soup for the Jewish Soul.” Admission is $9. Call 781-762-8670 for more information.
4. Live music continues at Perks Coffeehouse with the Laura Grill Band at 8 p.m.
5. Norwood High School’s home opener pre-game ceremonies will be held at the school beginning at 12:45 pm on Saturday, Sept. 10. Kickoff is at 1 p.m., as Norwood hosts Needham. There is a $5 gate fee. Children and those with a military ID will be admitted free.
