Norwood Police Log: Armed Robbery in Dedham, Halloween Mischief

Wednesday, October 10
10:30 a.m. - Dedham Police reported an armed robbery in progress at Elm St. bank. All Norwood cars notified to look for a white male in his 20's, wearing an orange hat, black coat and white gloves. Officer Padden responded to Route 1 and Everett St. (Read the full report on Dedham Patch.)
3:16 p.m. - Caller reported a motor vehicle accident at Nahatan and Fulton streets. One vehicle towed from the scene. Police filed a report.
6:50 p.m. - Caller reported motor vehicle accident at Walpole and Wilson streets. One vehicle towed from the scene. Police filed a report.
8:42 p.m. - Caller reported large group yelling and fighting near Sturtevant and Pond avenues. Responding officer reported group dispersed.
Thursday, October 11
12:57 a.m. - Caller on Washington St. reported accident in front of house. Officers responded. Operator had left the scene of the accident. Officers responded to party's home, filed a complaint for negligent operation of a motor vehicle and leaving the scene of property damage.
1:29 a.m. - Caller on Prospect St. reported a group of three males up to mischief. Stated they smashed pumpkins, put a pot of flowers on top of a car and removed someone's trash barrel from property. Officers responded, located kids and spoke with caller. Report filed.
