Norwood Police Log: Car into Light Pole, Shoplifting at Grocery Store

9:39 a.m. - Walk-in to the department reported hit and run to motor vehicle on Morse St. Police filed a report.
9:57 a.m. - Police received multiple calls for a small, black four-door vehicle driving at a high rate of speed around the rotary by St. Timothy's. Calls stated vehicle struck a telephone pole then backed up and sped off down Brook St. Vehicle located and driver taken into custody for leaving the scene of personal injury. One passenger tranported to Boston hospital with head injuries.
11:05 a.m. - Walk-in to the department reported internal theft of money at UHAUL. Police filed a report.
3:16 p.m. - Caller at Stop & Shop reported shoplifting by three or four black males and one female. Police filed a report, matter under investigation.
3:27 p.m. - Walk-in to the department reported larceny of iPad yesterday from Vanderbilt Ave. Police filed a report.
6:59 p.m. - Walk-in to the department reported breaking and entering to a motor vehicle on West St. Police filed a report.
