Norwood Police Log: Home Egged, Breaking and Entering

The following information was provided by the Norwood Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.

 

Friday, Jan. 18

1:51 p.m. - Driver said she had been forced off the road and struck a pole near Broadway and E. Cottage Street. Officer is attempting to contact the driver of the second vehicle. Case is under investingation at this time.

2:37 p.m. - Caller reported females fighting in the street at Stearns Drive. Officers gathered names and filed a report.

10:24 p.m. - Boston PD reported armed robbery of convienent store on the
Dedham line. Black Male suspect wearing a maroon hooded sweatshirt, jeans, a black mask and showed a black firearm. Fled in a red vehicle, no make, model or plate. BOLO put out to cars.

10:54 p.m. - Caller reported fireworks or gun shot on Norwest Drive, then he heard people fighting. Officers sent. Checked area. Could not locate any issues.

Saturday, Jan. 19

11:21 a.m. - Caller reported tractor-trailer versus car collision on Boston-Providence Highway. Norwood Fire sent, one vehicle towed from the scene. Police filed a report.

11:56 a.m. - Caller on Lenox Avenue reported house egged on a previous date.

1:40 p.m. - Caller at Home Depot reported shoplifter attempting to flee and is fighting. As a result, police placed Timothy A. Campbell, of Hyde Park, under arrest for larceny over $250.

Sunday, Jan. 20

1:54 p.m. - Caller on Hampden Drive reported words written on a vehicle in marker. Police filed a report.

5:46 p.m. - Caller reported larceny of a bike on Washington Street. Police filed a report.

Monday, Jan. 21

2:24 a.m. - Caller on Nahatan Street reported someone entered apartment without permission. Police filed a report.

10:40 a.m. - Caller reported breaking and entering on Summit Avenue. Police filed a report.

11:05 a.m. - Caller reported an assault on Washington Street. As a result, police arrested Sean Michael Keegan, Jr., of Norwood, for assault and battery.
