Norwood Police Log: Larceny on Walnut Ave., Vehicles Damaged by Youth With Pellet Gun

Tuesday, October 9

3:46 p.m. - Caller on Walnut Ave. reported larceny. Police reported this incident still under investigation.

4:47 p.m. - Caller reported she has witnessed a male beating on a female at Boston-Providence Highway and University Ave. Stated female took off running up University, male in a vehicle chasing behind her. Officers reported area checked and parties gone on arrival. License plate number given by caller registered to a residence in Dedham, Dedham Police advised.

4:48 p.m. - Female reported being harrassed while at work at Shaw's Supermarket by customer. Police filed a report.

6:40 p.m. - Caller near Redwood Dr. and Pleasant St. reported a suspicious party going door to door. Responding officer reported person doing survey for the election, party was advised.

7:08 p.m. - Caller on Norwest Dr. reported husband chasing youth who broke vehicle window with a pellet gun. Responding officers reported damage to two vehicles, parties gone on arrival. Police filed a report.
