The Hauben Family of Norwood were invited to play a game of Jimmy Kimmel's Skype Scavenger Hunt last week. And the family did not expect that they would get picked for the show.
"Back in January, the Kimmel show posted on their Facebook page looking for families who live in cold weather states. I emailed them not thinking anything would really come of it," Anne Hauben said.
The family then had a preliminary Skype interview with one of the producers and then were eventually picked by Kimmel to appear on the show. After the blizzard, the show overnighted a laptop and cords to use for the game.
"The Skype interview was a great experience and Jimmy and everyone we talked with on the show was super nice," she said. "The kids really loved being on TV, as did we."
Fun Fact: Dick Barret, the announcer for the Jimmy Kimmel Show was also the lead singer of the Mighty Mighty Bosstones and a resident of Norwood.

Mr. Hauben did not look happy! He said "Stop it," waving someone out of camera view away as Jimmy Kimmel cut away.

Yup, he (I was too if you look at me) was telling my dad to stop because he was trying to bribe Mason (who had slipped on the wet floor from the snow when he got up from the chairs) to stop crying and he was talking loud. We both told my dad to stop.
