According to the National Weather Service, Norwood will be getting a mix of rain and snow turning entirely to snow overnight tonight and through the day tomorrow.
Starting around 3:00 a.m. on April Fool's Day, the town will be getting another dose of snow amounting to less than half an inch before the morning commute on Friday and then another half to three-quarters of an inch throughout the day.
The dusting the NWS is expecting may be inconvenient, but is in no way the 25.4 inches that were dropped on the city of Boston on April Fool's Day in 1997, the last time the area saw snow on the prankster holiday.
No, this is not a joke.
