A father and son owned business with 29 years in Norwood, Hill Jewelers sells jewelry for any occasion. They also specialize in custom work, which can be a great way to mark the special occasion of graduation.

OOP: This is a editor's pick for just about any occasion that would require gift-giving. Located in , OOP has novelty items as well as beautiful work by local artisans, with many many options for a graduation present that is both personal and different.

One of our Norwood Patch contributors suggested this as a good spot for the non-conventional present. Get the graduate headed off to college a Mustang sweatshirt, something they can wear around the dorms that will remind them of home.

Barnes & Noble: Just over the line in Walpole, the chain bookstore offers shelves upon shelves of graduation-themed books, as well as journals, sketchbooks, stationary and other office supplies that could come in handy for the college-bound kid.

The ATM: As pointed out by a Norwood Patch contributor, cash is always a safe option and the recent graduate may soon have more expenses than they're used to. A nice card and a little help is always appreciated.
