Patriots' Rob Gronkowski Promotes 'Gronk Flakes' at Local Stop & Shop
The New England Patriots' star tight end was at Walpole's Stop & Shop on Main Street at 11 a.m. Tuesday to announce the arrival of his new cereal, "Gronk Flakes."
New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski held a press conference at Walpole’s Stop & Shop Tuesday to announce a portion of the proceeds from his new cereal, “Gronk Flakes,” will benefit the Gronk Nation Youth Foundation.
The frosted corn flakes are being sold for $3.99 a box. You can also order them online in a two-pack for $10. Some of the proceeds will benefit the Gronk Nation Youth Foundation, which helps youth charities.
The "limited-edition" cereal is being marketed by PLB Sports, which also came up with "Flutie Flakes," named after former New England Patriots' quarterback Doug Flutie.
More than 64,000 boxes of Gronk Flakes are on sale now at New England-area Stop & Shop stores, including the Norwood location on Boston-Providence Highway.

My husband and I just bought a case of Gronk Flakes to donate to the Patriots' "Celebrate Volunteerism Food Drive," which will be held at Gillette Stadiium during the Colts game on November 18th.
We're very excited because the Norwood Food Pantry will be one of the beneficiaries of the drive. Hope everybody out there will join us by donating to help make it a success!
Besides game day donation boxes, there will be boxes in the Pro Shop and the corporate offices the week before. Or you can fight hunger by donating food (including Gronk Flakes) at the drop-off boxes in the Norwood library and in Hannaford's, Shaw's, and Stop & Shop supermarkets.
