What's Open, What's Closed on Thanksgiving?

A round up of what is open and what is closed today.

Today we celebrate Thanksgiving, and many local offices and businesses will be closed for the day.

Here's a list of places that are closed in and around Norwood:

Town Hall and all government offices will be closed today and Friday. Post offices are also closed.

The Morrill Library will be closed today and will resume normal hours tomorrow at 10 a.m.

Norwood Schools are in recess, and will resume on Monday, Nov. 26.

Local bank branches are closed today.

Retail and liquor stores will also be closed today. Some supermarkets, convenience stores and restaurants may be open, especially in the morning, but most will be closed as well in the afternoon and evening.

If you’re taking the MBTA Commuter Line (or the subway or buses), be aware that trains are running on a Sunday schedule.

If you know of other closings, share them in the comments section.
