Norwood hockey fans unite, it's playoff time.
Tonight the Bruins start their 2012 post-season run, defending the Stanley Cup's home in Boston. The black and gold will take on the Washington Capitals at 7:30 p.m. at the TD Garden.
So where will you be watching the Bruins throw down for the honor of the ever-elusive Stanley Cup repeat? If you're struggling for an answer, here are a few local favorites to try out:
Jake 'n JOES: Plenty of bar space, plenty of table space, and plenty of very large televisions for game-watching. Not to mention an extensive menu of bar favorites and sports photos covering the walls.
T.G.I. Friday's: Colorful, with a wide variety of food and drink options, Friday's bar is a great place to gather some friends and cheer on your favorite teams.
Limey's Pub: Located where Martini's formally was in the center of Norwood, Limey's is a hometown pub with a comfortable feel. Perfect for grabbing a beer and watching the game.
BBC: Just over the line in Walpole, BBC offers hearty pub fare and a long list of beers. Plenty of space around the bar to catch up with old friends or make new ones.
