 s been an administrative team member at MVPediatrics Health and Wellness
  Center for over two years. She first learned American Sign Language (AS
 L) as a small child when a neighborhood friend was learning sign to comm
 unicate because he was profoundly deaf. As Melinda grew older\, she bega
 n to become involved in the Deaf Community\, where she learned a wealth 
 of knowledge.\nMelinda went on to take four years of sign language\, fin
 ishing in the top of her class with ASL teacher\, Christine Evans\, in t
 he Whitman-Hanson School District. Ms. Evans made it her point to integr
 ate students with the Deaf Community. Melinda went on to advance her sig
 ning skills at Northeastern University. Today\, she continues to be invo
 lved in with Deaf Community through local churches\, events\, schools\, 
 charities and networking.
