'Throughly Modern Millie" on Stage at Norwood High
Norwood High School Drama will be presenting "Throughly Modern Millie" at the Paul M. Alberta Performing Arts Center, Lincoln D. Lynch Auditorium, Thursday, 7 p.m., Friday, 7 p.m., Saturday, 7 p.m. and Sunday, 2 p.m.
Sharon Credit Union Donates Bose Headphones
Sharon Credit Union provided sound cancelling Bose Headphones to the Willett Early Childhood Center in Norwood. The Bose Headphones will benefit children who are on the autism spectrum and have difficulty tolerating background noises.
Without the use of these headphones some students would need to be removed from the larger group and miss the experience of working with their grade level peers. The headphones come in handy in loud spaces, such as the classroom, lunch room and on the playground. They can lower the background noise while allowing to hear someone speaking.
“We truly appreciate and cherish our relationship with the Sharon Credit Union. It is so nice to have partnerships such as the one we have with the Credit Union to meet the unique needs of our students,” said Diane Ferreira, principal of the Willett Early Childhood Center.

Social Media, Cyberbullying Presentation
There will be a social media and cyberbullying presentation at the Norwood High School auditorium, Tuesday, Oct. 15, at 6:30 p.m.Public Works Committee Meeting
The Norwood Public Works Project Committee will be meeting tonight from 7-8 p.m. in the police station's community room.
