The Halloween Pumpkinfest will be held Thursday, Oct. 24, for ages 3 to 8 at the Norwood Recreation Department from 3:30 p.m.. The cost is $5 per resident and $10 per non-resident. You will be able to decorate your pumpkin with hair, feathers, hats and more. All materials are provided and the staff will be on hand to assist.
The Norwood Recreation Department will be offering Trunk or Treat Saturday, Oct. 26, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. All cars who pre-register for event, must be set up by 4:45 p.m.
The Halloween Spooktacular will be held Friday, Oct. 25, from 6-7:30 p.m. at Norwood Recreation Department. The cost is $5 geared to ages 3-8. There will be face painting, games, refreshments, dancing, costume parade and crafts.
The Abundant Table "Get off your buns and run" will be held Saturday, Oct. 26, at 9 a.m. It will a 5K walk and run from 100 Winter St. You can register at www.active.com, keywood Abundant Table. There is a $25 fee.
This is Abundant Table's 10th year of community service and they serve hot meals to those in need Wednesday and Friday.
