Flu Center Today at Norwood Hospital

Flu clinics will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 23 and Nov. 13, at Norwood Hospital, 800 Washington St., Norwood, for adults, ages 18 and over. Cost is $20 per person (cash, check or charge accepted). Only Medicare or Medicare Replacement insurances will be billed for qualified individuals. Free validated parking offered during the clinics.Details for the flu clinics are as follows:Flu Clinic, Oct. 23, 5 p.m. – 6:30 p.m., Norwood Hospital Cafeteria, Lorusso Building. Come in for your flu shot on Oct. 23 and take advantage of our Senior Supper. Enjoy a carved-to-order roast beef dinner with mashed potatoes, sautéed green beans, baby carrots, dessert and beverage for $5.50. Learn About "Happy" at Morrill Library
"Happy" (Together Yes fall film series) is playing Wednesday at the Morrill Memorial Library at 7 p.m. The movie asks the question "Why do happy people live better, longer, and with more care for others and the world? Why are some cultures happier than others?" It is the first in a three part series. Free popcorn is provided by Regal Cinemas in Bellingham and the cider is donated from Monroe Dairy in East Providence.

Local Genealogist to Trace Family Roots
Wednesday's night's Individual Genealogy Session with Joe Petrie is filled for Wednesday, Monday, Oct. 28, Tuesday, Oct. 29, but there are openings in the Wednesday, Oct. 30 session from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. A local genealogy expert, Petrie helps people research their family tree online.
