The Norwood Fire Department will be hosting an open house Saturday, Oct. 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m, featuring demonstrations of the aerial ladder, Jaws of Life Demo, 1-2 p.m., and how to put out a house fire and fire gear demo.
There will be balloons, Dunkin' Donuts and Papa Gino's.
Comedy at Norwood Theatre
Comedy Night with Dan Galvin is being held Oct. 12 at the Norwood Theatre at 8 p.m. Also performing will be comedians Mike Whitman and Brad Mastrangelo.

Cyberbully Presentation at Norwood High
There will be a social media and cyberbully presentation at Norwood High auditorium, Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 6:30 p.m. Norwood High School and Norwood Bank are presenting the free presentation.Dr. Elizabeth Englander from the program MARC(Massachusetts Aggression Reduction Center) Bridgewater State University will lead the presentation and discussion around the most recent research on our children/teen's issues pertaining to bullying/cyberbullying through their social media (computers,phones, iPads etc.).
Children's Program at Morrill Library
The Lapsits program of songs, dancing, reading, play, and using puppets will be held at the Morrill Public Library's children room, Friday from 10:30 to 11:30 a,m, and 11:30 a.m. to noon.The program is for children under three and their caregivers.
