The Halloween Spooktacular will be held Friday, Oct. 25, from 6-7:30 p.m. at Norwood Recreation Department. The cost is $5 geared to ages 3-8. There will be face painting, games, refreshments, dancing, costume parade and crafts.
Run in Abundant Table Race Saturday
The Abundant Table "Get off your buns and run" will be held Saturday, Oct. 26, at 9 a.m. It will a 5K walk and run from 100 Winter St. You can register at www.active.com, keywood Abundant Table. There is a $25 fee.
This is Abundant Table's 10th year of community service and they serve hot meals to those in need Wednesday and Friday.
Trunk or Treat Saturday
The Norwood Recreation Department will be offering Trunk or Treat Saturday, Oct. 26, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at municipal lot. All cars who pre-register for event, must be set up by 4:45 p.m.
Football Team Hits the Road
The Norwood High football team will be looking for its first win of the season when the 0-6 Mustangs travel to Newton North. The Mustang swim team will be at Dedham at 3:30 p.m.
What to Wear Today?
It will be chilly today with temperatures in the 50s, according to WHDH. Temperatures at night are expected to be close to the freezing mark.
