The Norwood Fire Department is training on the town's new $1.1 million ladder truck, according to a report in the Boston Globe. They are hoping to be trained and have the truck in regular service.
The truck had a 11-foot aerial ladder, back-up cameras and rescue jacks.
The existing ladder truck had been in service for 21 years and it will be traded in. it was approved at the town meeting in November 2011.

Baptiste Family on Family Feud
The Baptiste family of Norwood will be appearing on the game show, "Family Feud," Thursday, according to a report in the Boston Globe. The show is on Channel 7, Drea Baptiste is the team captain along with her husband, Corey Manning, sisters Tamara and Ayana Bapiste and her mother, Roselyn Acloque.
