The Norwood Historical Society will be presenting Victorian Christmas at the Sundays and Thursday throughout December. There will be an open house with a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, Sunday, Dec. 1, at 1 p.m. The house is open from 1-4 p.m. Sundays and from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursdays.
Norwood Public Schools to Close Early Wednesday
The Norwood public schools will be closing Wednesday at noon for Thanksgiving recess. School will reopen Monday, Dec. 2.
Mustang Football at Dedham for Thanksgiving Day Game
The Norwood High football team will be traveling to Dedham for the annual Thanksgiving Day game Thursday at 10 a.m.
Holiday Parade Set for Sunday
The annual holiday parade and tree lighting will be taking place Sunday, Dec. 1, at 3:30 p.m. The Norwood High marching band and Madrigal Chior will be performing at the gazebo.
Wild Weather Wednesday
It will be a stormy Wednesday with driving rain and strong winds in the area, according to WHDH. The winds are expected to reach 50-60 miles an hour with temperatures in the 60-65 degree range.
