Norwood Planning Board to Host Public Hearing on Affordable Housing Projects


The Norwood Planning Board will holding a public hearing on two affordable-housing projects Monday, Nov. 18, at 6:30 p.m with the hearings starting at 7 p.m. The projects are at the from homes of Plimpton Press and Regal Press. Here's the agenda of the meeting.

The Norwood selectmen will be meeting Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 7 p.m. in Room 34 at town hall. They will be hearing reports from the recreation department and from the DPW Financing Committee. Here is the agenda for the meeting.

-There will be a blood pressure clinic Thursday, Nov. 21. from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Willow Wood Housing Complex on Adams Street.

-There will be a MEFA College Financing Night Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 6:30 p.m. in the Norwood High auditorium. MEFA will provide an overview of the financial aid process.

-The gusty downpours and thunder will end by 9 a.m., according to WHDH. It will be a breezy afternoon with temperatures in the mid 60s mid-morning, dropping to mid-50s in the afternoon.
