The Norwood public schools will be closing Wednesday at noon for Thanksgiving recess. School will reopen Monday, Dec. 2.
The Norwood High football team will be traveling to Dedham for the annual Thanksgiving Day game Thursday at 10 a.m.
The annual holiday parade and tree lighting will be taking place Sunday, Dec. 1, at 3:30 p.m. The Norwood High marching band and Madrigal Chior will be performing at the gazebo.
The Norwood Board of Health will be meeting Monday, Nov. 25, at 9 a.m. at Norwood Town Hall, 566 Washington St.
The cold will still be with us today, according to WHDH. It will be mostly sunny skies with temperatures in the low to mid-30s. Looking ahead to Thanksgiving, it is expected to be windy and cold with temperatures 35-40 under mostly sunny skies.
