Five Things You Need to Know: Mar. 15, Rock for Hope, Lenten Lunch for Seniors and More

Here are five things you need to know for Friday!

Today's Weather: Today there will be a chance of sprinkles after 5 p.m. then increasing clouds, with a high near 42. For tonight, more sprinkles and flurries before 8 p.m., then a chance of flurries between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. Then partly cloudy, with a low around 25, according to The National Weather Service.

1. Balch Elementary School, 1170 Washington St. in Norwood, will host an Italian Dinner at 5:30 p.m. The money raised will go to the 5th grade class activities like graduation and field trips.  The dinner costs $5 per person.

2. Norwood Senior High School, 245 Nichols St. in Norwood, will host an Acapella Night event at 6 p.m. The performances will feature Norwood High School's own AcaBella, Sound FX, and Bro Coda, Foxboro High School's A Cappella Choir, Wellesley High Schools Ladies First and special guests Bridgewater State University's A Cappella Anonymous as well as the Brown Derbies from Brown University.

3. Sarah Quinn's Rock for Hope to Benefit the Norwood Circle of Hope Foundation will happen tonight at 7:30 p.m.  The event will feature live entertainment and costs $20 to attend.

4. The Ellis Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, 135 Ellis Ave. in Norwood, will have a free Lenten Lunch for Seniors event at 12 p.m.

5. And Norwood Hospital, 800 Washington St. in Norwood, will have its Senior Supper Program at 4:45 p.m. The dinner costs $5.50.
