Five Things You Need to Know This Weekend: Christmas Concert, Bowl with Santa

1. The Norwood Alumni Choir will be having their 16th annual Christmas concert this year to celebrate this year's holiday season. Come join over 50 Norwood High School alumni for some classic Christmas carols and holiday celebration at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church on Sunday, Dec. 23 at 7:30 p.m.

2. Head over to Kings in Dedham on Saturday, Dec. 22 from 1-3 p.m. to bowl with Santa Claus and Kings mascots Woody and BB Kings. Take a picture with the gang and enjoy some complimentary hot chocolate and cookies. All children will also receive holiday goody bags. Don’t miss out on an afternoon of holiday fun for the whole family!

3. There will be a Super Singles Christmas Dance on Saturday, Dec. 22, at the Mansfield Holiday Inn. The dance will be 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. with a dance lesson from 7:30-8 p.m. , best for singles approximately 35-65 years old from all types of professions and backgrounds for socializing, dancing and general entertainment.

4. Still hoping to get your child's picture with Santa? Head over to the Walpole Town Common Friday from 3-5 p.m. or Saturday from 10 a.m to 2 p.m.

5. Once again the Norwood Police Association is assisting the Marines with their Toys for Tots collection. Donations of new, unwrapped, non-violent toys are needed. You may bring them to the lobby of the police station.
