Here we go again: forecasters and weather officials are predicting that yet another winter storm is going to blow through New England later this week.

The next big weather maker is making its way toward the Northeast, arriving Wednesday night at the earliest.

The storm will bring heavy snow, but it's too early to tell who will get the brunt of the storm.Accuweather.com predicts that if the storm moves farther east, the zone of heavy snow may center over I-95 and coastal cities and towns in the Northeast. If the storm holds closer to the coast, those cities will see more of a wintry mix with some rain.

Though early projections show the storm moving through New England quickly around Thursday, this system may have the potential to dump a foot of snow in parts of the region.

With several hundred miles between the storm and New England, the National Weather Service warns that "a lot of certainty remains" in the forecast.
