2. Patriot Place Sounds of Summer Concert Series Presented by Patch.com
Where/When: ; Sunday, Aug. 5, 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Why Go: Enjoy the musical stylings of the long-running cover band, TransMission, at 4 p.m. and jazz, blues and classic rock by Static Luminosity at 6 p.m. TransMission is a three-piece group that plays all of the best classic rock, '80s and '90s hits, and recent top 40 dance tunes. Static Luminosity is Jared Celia on bass, guitar and lead vocals, Robert Matthews-Forte on guitar, bass and lead vocals, Dan Tekin on guitar and bass and Noah Celia on drums and background vocals. They will pretty much play anything, play it well and don't just stick to one genre.

3. Norwood High School Football Car Wash
Where/When: Municipal Lot at Broadway and Nahatan St.; Saturday, Aug. 4, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Why Go: Support the NHS football squad with whatever donation you can and get your car washed! All proceeds go toward new game uniforms.

4. Dedham Square Country Market
Where/When: 626 High St, Dedham; Sunday, July 1, 10 a.m.
Why Go: A weekly market will be held at the new "Dedham Square Country Market" located in the Odd Fellows building (next to Nest). The market has been organized by Greg Agnew, proprietor of the Dedham Square Country Market, whose family farm "Lemon Thyme Farm" was a regular vendor at the Dedham Farmers Market last season.
