Norwood High Football to Open Season
The Norwood High football team will be opening up their season Saturday night at Holliston in an 8 p.m. game.
Home Games for Youth Football Team
The Norwood Youth Football teams will be in action Sunday. On the lower field, the fifth grade team will play Dover at 9 a.m. on the lower field, the second-third grade team will play Framingham at 10:30 a.m. and the fourth grade against Dover at noon. At the upper field, the sixth grade team will play Dover at 9 a.m., the seventh grade against Dover at 10:30 a.m and the eighth grade team against Newton at noon.
Rock on at Norwood Theatre
The Ultrasonic Rock Orchestra will be held at the Norwood Theatre, Saturday at 8 p.m. A Norwood Theatre fan favorite. The URO is a Boston-based group of 12 singers and instrumentalists who play the best of classic rock.
Check Out Dedham School of Music
The Dedham School of Music will be holding an open house Sunday, Sept. 15, at 11 a.m. at the Dedham Community House, 671 High St., Dedham. The event is free. You will be able to meet the faculty and try the instruments.
What's the Weather This Weekend?
It will be a good weekend to get outside and enjoy the fall activities, according to WHDH. It will be cool, with some sun and clouds, Saturday, with highs in the mid to upper to 60s. It will be mostly sunny and a little bit warmer with temperatures in low and mid-70s.
