The Magic of Lyn Comes to the Norwood Theatre

For one night only the Norwood Theatre will host one of the world's only female illusionists.

On Saturday the Norwood Theatre will host master illusionist Lyn Dillies for a show that Dillies herself describes as a family-oriented spectacle of the type you would travel to Las Vegas or Broadway to see.

Dillies said she has been doing magic since the age of 12, when she would offer to perform for her neighbors and friends out of a cardboard box of tricks. Now she is one of the only female illusionists in the world and has performed in venues from New York’s Lincoln Center to Hollywood’s Magic Castle. And for one night only, Dillies will bring her illusions to Norwood.

"It's a beautiful theatre and we're really excited about performing there," Dillies said.

According to the Norwood Theatre website: "The Magic of Lyn is a show filled with eye-defying illusions, hypnotic lighting, hot music and most magical of all, the enchanting personality of Lyn Dillies herself."

"We think it's a great show," Erica McLaughlin, Marketing and Event Coordinator for the Theatre, said. McLaughlin also noted that there are a good amount of tickets left available and the box office will be open Saturday 12-5 p.m. for day of purchases.
