Norwood Harpist to Perform at Morrill Memorial Library

Norwood harpist Lizary Rodriguez and five of her students will perform on Nov. 3 at 3 p.m. as part of the Morrill Memorial Library “Musical Sundays Concert Series."

 The concert will include a variety of musical selections, including pieces from Spain, Latin America, Ireland, and the U.S

Rodriguez has a bachelor’s degree in piano from the Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico, both masters and doctoral degrees from the University of Arizona, and two post-graduate degrees from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid, Spain.

She has won several competitions in the United States, Spain, Italy and France. Her albums "Harp Voyage,","Harp Therapy" and "Christmas Arpeggios” have received excellent reviews from prestigious magazines such as "Fanfare Magazine" New Jersey, "Classical Source" in London and "La Scena Musicale" in Quebec. Lizary will release her fourth recording “Arpa…con Alma Latina” in November.
