Norwood Business Spotlight: Luke Adams Glass

Luke Adams Glass is a destination place in Norwood.

Patrons walk right into this live artist studio with several glass makers standing in front of the roaring ovens, where they mold and make these beautiful objects of art made from glass.

Time is of the essence, as the glass has to be perfectly heated to bend and stretch.

Norwood Patch sat down with owner Luke Adams to discuss glass, classes and jewelry.

Spotlight on the Bamboo Restaurant

The Bamboo Restaurant in Dedham is known for fine Asian cuisine and a large sushi bar.

When customers enter the restaurant through large glass doors, they are greeted by a tranquil waterfall covering one whole wall.

A perfect place to watch a game is at their bar or grab a seat at the Sushi bar, and watch the chefs prepare rolls and sushi.

Dedham Patch sat down with George Leung, manager of Bamboo, to find out what makes this restaurant different.

A Look Inside The Turnpike Cafe

The Turnpike Cafe, located at 958 Turnpike St. in Canton, has been a staple in town for more than 50 years. New owners Patrick and Caroline Brodigan purchased the restaurant a year ago and plan to continue its tradition of keeping it in the family.

The Brodigan family recently launched a new menu featuring many homemade favorites like burgers and a Greek wrap. They’ve also added some new items such as nachos, pizza, spinach salad and a hummus plate.

Canton Patch sat down with Patrick Brodigan to talk about his first year running this well known restaurant.
