Boch Jr. in the News For Having 'Baddest' House in Town

Norwood's Ernie Boch Jr. was featured in the Wall Street Journal for the amount of money he invested in expanding his home.

Owner of Norwood-based Boch Enterprises, Ernie Boch Jr.'s home was featured in the Wall Street Journal.  The focus was on how Boch Jr. bought out nine homes and invested $30 million just to expand his home.

In the home there are 300 speakers, 70 security cameras and 15 tablets that can control lights, heat and music.

"Ernie wanted it to feel like a club," his decorator Anthony Catalfano told WSJ. "It doesn't really match his personality. When you look at him you'd never think he'd have this old style."

Boch Jr. told WSJ that he would like to donate the property to the public when he dies.
