Dedham Medical Opening New Offices in Norwood

Dedham Medical Associates will be expanding its services to Norwood at 1177 Providence Hwy on Apr. 15. And Project Managers Jeannette Doyle and Amy Yunes are excited that Dedham Medical will be offering a variety of services.

"There will be 35 physicians practicing here," Doyle said. "This building will offer practices such as primary care, internal medicine, OBGYN, radiology, MRI's, and pediatrics in April.  And then will offer some practices like urology and optometry in June."

The whole building was built to fit eco-friendly standards and is the first building in Norwood to be LEED certified, according to the project managers.

The hours of the medical facility will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Patients of the medical practice will also be able to get blood work done at the facility after an appointment.

The practice is now accepting new patients and they will host a Dedham Medical Associates Grand Opening party on May 18 for the entire community. This event will feature free activities, food and giveaways.

"It's important to know that we are moving our practice on 325 River Ridge Drive and expanding our services," Amy Yunes said. "Dedham Medical at 1 Lyons St. in Dedham will remain open."
