The Common Cafe and Patisserie, 637 Washington St. in Norwood, is a perfect spot for breakfast or lunch.

The mismatched tables, brick walls lined with art work by local artisans and the smell of fresh baked goods will make you feel right at home.

The Common Cafe is open for breakfast at 7 a.m. and closes after lunch at 3 p.m.

Patch sat down with one of the owners Paul Avramidis to find out about the house specialties and what the cafe has to offer it's customers.

Patch: What are some of your specialties?

Avramidis: On our breakfast menu we have egg sandwiches on assorted homemade breads, omeletes of your choice, muffins and pastries that we bake on the premises. For lunch we have homemade soup, specialty wraps and sandwiches.
