Norwood Hospital Shows How You Can Walk Away from Knee or Hip Pain

On Thursday, Sep. 12 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Norwood Hospital will have a free seminar on the less-invasive treatment option to relieve knee or hip pain called MAKOplasty.

"Orthopedic specialists from Norwood Hospital will explain how MAKOplasty® -- an innovative robotic-arm assisted technology -- can effectively and more precisely treat early- to mid-stage osteoarthritis of the knee or hip," a hospital representative said in a statement.

There will also be a question and answer session with the doctors, and participants will get the chance to meet their robot.  There will also be testimonials from patients who underwent the treatment option to relieve joint pain.

Refreshments will be served and free parking will be offered in the visitors’ parking lot.
