Residents from Canton, Sharon, Stoughton and other areas were treated to free cups of frozen yogurt this week at Orange Leaf in Canton, which celebrated its 200th grand opening.

Jenn Tracy of Stoughton was named the winner of Wahlburgers' "Create Our Next Burger" contest this month. The Hingham restaurant is owned by Chef Paul Wahlberg and his two celebrity brothers Mark and Donnie Wahlberg.

Walpole Small Business Q&A: Jalapenos Grill 

Find out what Ricardo Dorronsorro, owner of the local restaurant in Walpole, says about the market she's managed since 1995. Jalapenos Grill specializes in authentic Mexican fare. Menu items include homemade salsa, tacos, enchiladas, tamales and churros, among many other Mexican dishes. It also has a wide selection of tequilas and margaritas.

During July and August, the Ninety Nine Restaurants held a fundraiser raising $430,000 for the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in communities throughout New England and New York. The Walpole Ninety Nine Restaurant raised $3,552 for the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

While not an eatery, the opening of Trader Joe's grocery store in Foxborough was welcomed with many smiles from nearby residents this past month.

Mansfield Getting Tough on Restaurants' Managers of Record 

The Mansfield Board of Selectmen this month made an effort to ensure local restaurants have a manager of record slated with the town; selectmen agreed that having no manager of record puts the town and the restaurant into liability issues that could be serious problems in the future.

NORTON

How Long Before Sabatino's Opens?

Several Patch readers this month asked when Sabatino's Trattoria will be opening in Norton. The Italian restaurant was originally slated to open in April, but no firm date has been set. Building owner Rico Ferrera said that the exterior was recently finished, and it's hopeful that the eatery will open within a month.
