PHOTOS: Trader Joe's Open for Business at Patriot Place

Beginning Friday morning, Trader Joe's is open for business 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week at 350 Patriot Pl., Foxborough. Check out these scenes from Friday's grand opening.

The line was long, the cheers were loud and the celebration was on at 350 Patriot Pl. Friday morning as Trader Joe's opened for business in Foxborough.

Hundreds of customers filled the neighborhood grocery store shortly after 8 a.m. following the ceremonial cutting of the Lei.

On hand to celebrate the highly anticipated opening were members of The Kraft Group, including president Jonathan Kraft, members of the New England Patriots cheerleaders, "Pat Patriot,” the team’s mascot and Trader Joe's Regional Vice President Chris Maguire among others.

Also participating in Trader Joe’s grand opening were members of the New England Patriots Women’s Association to help out the Women’s Lunch Place in Boston. In partnership with Trader Joe’s the Patriots Women’s Association went “shopping” in the grocery store Friday morning to donate various items to the organization, which is a community center for poor and homeless women and their children in the Boston area.

The grand opening festivities will continue throughout the day with live music, free raffles for prizes, food demos and more.

Inside, the store is every bit of the 16,000 square feet it said it would be – filling the space formerly occupied by Circuit City - giving customers plenty of room to shop.

The Foxborough location is the 18th Trader Joe's in Massachusetts and the first in the company’s chain that’s fully integrated into an NFL stadium site.

Trader Joe's celebrates its presence in the neighborhood by liking its appearance with town-inspired decor. Foxborough's Trader Joe's is no different, scoring a touchdown in the decor department.

From scenes of Foxborough's Town Hall and the old Foxborough Fire Shed to Gillette Stadium and the New England Patriots, residents and football fans alike will feel a sense of community pride upon walking into the store.

And speaking of walking in to Trader Joe's in Foxborough, seats and bench tops from the old Foxboro Stadium - now Gillette Stadium's parking lot - are located to the right entrance of the store, providing the feel of a sports museum.

New England Patriots star linebacker Jerod Mayo had the opportunity to tour Trader Joe's before Friday's grand opening and enjoyed the experience. Watch what he had to say here.

Foxborough's newest business will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily offers beer and wine and offers plenty of customer parking spaces.
