Pier 1 Imports Reopens After Four Month Remodeling Project

After four months Pier 1 Imports in Norwood reopened over the weekend and gives Fall decorating tips for the home.

Over the weekend Pier 1 Imports in Norwood reopened after being closed for four months.

According to Store Manager Chad Barton, the remodeled store now will offer a better opportunity to Norwood and surrounding areas their decorating, entertaining and gifting needs.

"All of these new visual enhancements have been made to help customers visualize the end-use of the products within their own home," Barton said. "The new look will enhance the shopping environment by giving customers the opportunity to see, feel and interact with the product."

With Fall coming soon the store is offering these home decorating tips:

  • Find inspiration in the colors and patterns of the season.
    • Cooler weather may mean less time outdoors, so bring autumn’s abundance inside!  Try adding a natural harvest wreath on the door or incorporate accents of leaves, pumpkins and woodland creatures into your décor.
    • For a modern take on fall, try incorporating Pier 1 Imports’ rich jewel-tone accents into any room of your home. Throws, pillows and artwork are great places to start.
  • Small changes can make a big impact on your space.
    • Embrace the season while still staying within your budget by introducing a few key pieces and accessories. New pillows or curtains can completely transform a room.
    • Focus on high-traffic areas, like the dining room. Layer your existing white dinnerware with harvest-themed accent plates, glassware or placemats to achieve an entirely different look!
    • Don’t forget to incorporate seasonal scents, such as Honey Pumpkin, Spiced Cake and Autumn Leaves.
