What's Going to Happen at Steward Health Care?

The Steward Health Care says it has no plans to sell the six former Caritas Christi hospitals or the the entire systems, despite state financial data showing they are continuing to lose money, and have had turnover in the system, according to a report in the Boston Globe. Steward owns Norwood Hospital.

After the buyout of the Caritas Christi system, Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakly put a three-year ban on selling the system, which runs out Nov. 8, leading to speculation on what is going to happen to the company.
