RELIABLE RESPIRATORY AWARDED CHAP ACCREDITATION

Company Meets Highest National Standards of Home Health Care Board

The Community Health Accreditation Program, Inc. (CHAP) has announced that Reliable Respiratory based in Norwood, Mass., earned CHAP accreditation, meeting the organization’s Standards of Excellence in the delivery of respiratory equipment, supplies and services, and oxygen. Reliable has been CHAP accredited since 2004.

CHAP accreditation demonstrates that Reliable Respiratory meets the industry’s highest standards. The rigorous evaluation process includes a company self-review, comprehensive site visits, followed by CHAP Board review and accreditation. Prior to application, the company must meet all business and regulatory requirements.

In another demonstration of Reliable Respiratory’s commitment to cost containment, patient compliance and customer service, in the just-completed Competitive Bid process of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), the company won bids to provide a range of respiratory and oxygen equipment and supplies in key regions of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The company only employs Licensed Respiratory Therapists to work with patients.

Following Haiti’s devastating earthquake in 2010, the company donated a large supply of nebulizers for children with asthma and other respiratory ailments.
