1. Join the fun today at the Elks Lodge for Cheryl's "Angel For Hope" Carnival. Enjoy a fun filled afternoon playing over 20 carnival games. There will be an abundance of prizes, popcorn, and cotton candy. All proceeds to benefit Norwood Circle Of Hope Foundation.

2. The Norwood High School Winter Guard Show will be held Saturday at 4 p.m. in the school's gymnasium.

3. Join the first ever "Reverse Scavenger Hunt In A Bag" at the Norwood Elks today at 7:45 p.m. Get your group of 10 or be connected with other individuals. There will be a cash bar and feel free to bring your own appetizers and snacks. There will be premade lists of scavenger items. You bring your own collection of miscellaneous items that you think might be on the list. Your team of ten will compare items and check off anything that matches your list, earning you points. The team with the most points wins. All proceeds to support Norwood Circle Of Hope Foundation.

4. Meet Jacqueline Davies, author of the award-winning "Lemonade War" series, for a reading and discussion of her popular series and signing of the new fourth book in the series, "The Candy Smash" at Blue Bunny Books in neighboring Dedham.

5. Learn how to utilize Patch.com to market your business and events on Monday, Feb. 4 at a Patch 101 lunch held by the Neponset Valley Chamber of Commerce.
