Norwood Home Sales Up in March, Up Statewide

New data from the Warren Group shows that home sales in Norwood increased last month.

 

Norwood saw its home sales increase in March, according to data released by real estate information firm The Warren Group, 

According to the report, there was an increase in March sales in Norwood from eight in 2012 to 13 in 2013. Year to date sales are also up from 28 in 2012 to 36 in 2013.

While sales were up, the median home price went up from $285,000 in March 2012 to $316,000 in March 2013. The year to date median price went up from $312,500 in 2012 to $335,750 in 2013.

In Massachusetts, 3,214 homes sold in March 2013, slightly down over last year's 3,100 sales.

The median sale price in the state however, went up 8.37% from $263,000 in March 2012 to $282,500 in March 2013
