Summerfest Heating Up in Norwood

Norwood’s Summerfest is turning 33 this year and there’s no shortage of activities this time around.

Summefest concerts go every Wednesday night from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the Norwood Common.

The concerts are sponsored by the Norwood Arts Council, which takes donations from the town itself, local businesses and private citizens every year to put the shows together.

Every year sees an eclectic mix of many different genres, but each year has at least one Irish band, which will be the Silver Spears this week.

Each concert features a raffle to win a gift card to restaurants like Conrad’s or the Chateau.
