Wind gusts could reach up to 50 mph.

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for Norfolk County, including Norwood, through Friday early morning.

Hazards include strong Southwest winds between 15-25 mph, with gusts up to 50 mph.

"Winds will increase during the morning hours and be strongest during the afternoon through early overnight," the advisory reads. "Winds will diminish prior to midnight Friday with the passage of a cold front."

The NWS states that such winds can cause downed limbs and branches, as well as sporadic power outages.
