AltWheels Fleet Day has become known as a leading way for fleet

managers to get useful and practical information on how to reduce costs and

improve the performance of their fleets.

Many guest speakers including AltWheels Founder and Chairman,

Alison Sander, and Stephen B. Russell, Director, Massachusetts Clean Cities

Coalition, will address progress in alternative transportation in New England

and beyond over the past decade.

“The line-up of speakers at this year’s AltWheels

Fleet Day brings a wealth of knowledge based on experience, that is sure to be

of value to all fleet managers,” said Russell. “Anyone who attends is sure to

come away with practical information that they can put to use to help save

costs managing their fleets.”

Fleet Day also showcases a large outdoor vehicle display and ride and drive opportunities.  This year will highlight how far we’ve come

with technology by showcasing a Stanley model 735M chassis made in 1922.  The body was built by J. Donald Gibson ca

1950.  It is not efficient, the engine is

basically an 1841 design and Stanley advertised it as such.  A modern, say 1915, engine would more than

double the efficiency!  Some of the
