KSA's Creative Kids Festival

On Sunday, January 12th, Kehillah Schechter Academy will open its doors and invite pre-K through eighth grade children from Greater Boston and around the South Area to discover their creative spark at our Creative Kids Festival.

Visitors at the festival will be invited to explore an exhibition of creative student work. We cordially invite students to display their own creative work in our exhibition! Entries in our school will range from art projects, to writing, to creative mathematical solutions! We encourage all students to also BE CREATIVE!

Festival participants of all ages will have the opportunity to discover their creative spark through a range of interactive workshops. A highlight will be the making of a permanent exhibit with artist Dan Trajman. Younger visitors will delight in music and movement including a drum circle with renowned musicians.  Participants will also enjoy workshops on video production, poetry, hat design, a session on how to turn an “oops” into something beautiful, and much more.  The festival will culminate with Israeli dancing.
